Anyone else had a really bad experience going off of Proactiv & switching to organic skin care like Mychelle?

2 Comments 19 April 2014

Question by yahoo100: Anyone else had a really bad experience going off of Proactiv & switching to organic skin care like Mychelle?
I am in my late 20′s and I have been on Proactiv for 3 years straight. I recently found out about the horrible chemicals in Proactiv and decided to become more organic – food, shampoo, deodorant, facial care, etc. I began using the Mychelle skin care line with the White Cranberry Cleanser & the Clear Skin Serum. Everything was fine for the first week or so, then my face broke out horrible!! I’ve never seen it like this before. I started reading that you have to “wean” your face off of Proactiv, which I did not do. I also read about using a baking soda scrub after cleansing. Has anyone else had this experience? How long did it take before your skin returned to “normal” (normal for me is 3 breakouts at one time). I am nervous that I’ve done something really horrible by going off of Proactiv – but I want to keep going to see if the results get any better. I would like to continue using the Mychelle. It can’t be that I’m allergic to it, because I used it for over a week & my skin was just fine, right?? For the past 3 days I’ve been cleansing, then lighting rubbing with a baking soda+water mix, then applying the Clear Skin serum.

Please tell me about your experience. I’m driving myself a little crazy worrying about this… and researching on the internet everyday!
Thank you! :)

I used proactive for a couple of years and ended up getting sick of paying 50 dollars for it. When I quit using it, my skin broke out really bad almost immediately. It’s like they do that on purpose so you will think that you have to have it. I’ve never used that stuff you mentioned though so I dont know.

Question by Valorietx: Does anyone know a wholesale supplier for Philosophy skin care products? And other high-end skin care items?
I am looking for a wholesale supplier for Philosophy skin care products, based in Phoenix, Arizona. Would also like to find wholesale suppliers for other high-end products such as Bare Escentuals, Smashbox, Laura Geller, M.A.C. and comparable lines. I have done hours and hours of research online but so far I haven’t had any luck in locating the high-end products that I am looking for. I would appreciate any leads anyone might have to offer. Thanks in advance for any information passed along.

I’ve had oily skin but it’s been dry lately and espescially during the winter months. I eat right and exercise but want to avoid wrinkles and eventually age lines. I sometimes do face workouts on youtube also.

Has anyone used NEOCUTIS products?

2 Comments 23 January 2014

Question by epsilon_theta: Has anyone used NEOCUTIS products?
I was wondering how these products worked as opposed to products that can be bought at a department store or Target. These skin care products are pricey like $ 120 and up.

I met with a dermatologist today for a consult who recommended mircodermabrasion followed by these products. I had a lot of sun expoure growing up and want take some preventative measures now. My skin is not too bad, but at age 36, I want to do what is right.

Input is appreciated.
Thanks.

Aveda is owned by Estee Lauder. A lot of their products are good, but overpriced.

Aveeno is owned by Johnson & Johnson. Their skin care products are just as good.

It sounds like you’re looking for acne products. You might try Clean and Clear, also owned by Johnson & Johnson. You can use this guide, too: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/904307/keep_your_acne_from_taking_over_your.html?cat=69

Question by g1mmedanger: Has anyone tried Aloette Radiance Skin Care Vitamin Supplements?
I’ve seen them mentioned in several magazine articles but they are $ 39.99, has anyone tried them? I’m curious if they are worth the money.

Answer by judialoette
Yes I have. And I would not go without them.

I am an Aloette Consultant. The reason I decided to try the vitamins was that when menopause set in my hair started to fall out. I had heard so many wonderful things from others who were taking them, so I thought I would give them a try. They really made such a difference in my hair. Not only has it stopped falling out, but it seems to grow faster. I know it is healthier, shinier & stronger.

The vitamins are targetted for hair, nail & skin. Taking care of your skin from the inside as well as the outside really makes so much sense. We are nourishing from the birthing area of our skin cells out , so those skin cells start off as healthy as they can be. They also help give a boost to our energy level.

The Radiance Vitamins are a definitely worth every penny.
We do have a program were you can have the vitamins automatically sent out every month. The customer pay for the first 3 months, and receive the 4th month’s suplly FREE.

Right now I can offer you a great deal. My franchise is holding a Buy 1 Get 1 FREE promotion. The vitamins are part of the BOGO sale.

If you would be interested in saving 50%on the vitamins, please give me a holler back. You can email
